Taradale Primary School PTA

The Taradale Primary School PTA is a motivated group of parents / caregivers who support the school through fundraising and community events. We pride ourselves on being social and inclusive. We run an active Facebook page which has information about our upcoming activities.

We meet on the first Monday of every month at 7pm in the school staff room (During RED at The Duke of Gloucester Taradale). All welcome – many hands make light work! We are always very keen for new ideas. We can only accept members that are vaccinated due to school policy.

The PTA pays for the librarian to be at TPS, they help with small projects like partially funding sports uniforms, PE sheds, drone, purchases for the Fete and more. The sandpit was a major project some years ago now and unfortunately Covid has stopped us from starting a very big project on the upgrade of the school grounds for our tamariki. We hope to get started on that as soon as it is feasible.
